Japan Camping Car Show 2026

White House has introduced Hyundai's ST1 commercial electric vehicle in Japan. Originally developed for urban logistics, the vehicle will be presented at the Japan Camping Car Show 2026 as a proposed base platform for motorhome conversions.

The Japan Camping Car Show 2026 will be held from January 30 to February 2 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba. In addition to motorhomes and caravans, the event will include a marine zone showcasing pleasure boats and rubber boats, and will feature an exhibition by the Tsugaru Kaikyō Ferry company.

The Japanese trailer manufacturer 'Lloyds' from Iwaki City has co-developed the compact travel trailer 'Lloyds RT-35' with automotive dealer KRC, targeting the local market. The model will debut at the Makuhari Messe exhibition at the end of January.

RV Land will unveil a special edition of the Lino Premium camper van featuring a sofa from the brand blocco. The Lino Premium blocco Edition will debut at the Japan Camping Car Show 2026 at Makuhari Messe from January 30 to February 2. The camper van is based on the Toyota HiAce Super Long and is designed for comfortable travel for two adults.

Japan is expanding its network of paid RV parks to address the common ban on overnight stays at regular parking areas. A new facility in Nagano Prefecture, 'RV Park RompersdogRun&Site', offers space for four vehicles, providing electricity, water, toilets, and allows dogs off-leash. The overnight fee starts from 12,001 yen.

Direct Cars unveiled the new KATANA mini compact camper van at the Japan Camping Car Show 2026. The model is based on the Daihatsu Hijet mini truck and features an electric step, a fold-out bed, and an air conditioning system.
