Shenzhen parks ban motorhomes from public parking lots

Changan has launched the RV, a 4x4 motorhome based on the Lantuozhe pickup in China. The model features a fixed living compartment with kitchen, bathroom, and solar power system. It is listed from around $40,000 on Chinese e-commerce platforms, though direct imports to markets like Spain are not yet recommended.

Shenzhen authorities have banned motorhomes from parking in all municipal park lots across the city. The decision followed numerous resident complaints about long-term occupancy, misuse of charging stations, and wastewater disposal issues. Owners are directed to paid campsites, which are significantly more expensive than the former park rates.

The annual awards for the RV and camping industry have launched in China. The competition is organized by media platforms 21 Century RV, RV Family, and RV World, with support from industry associations. Categories include awards for RV brands, dealer brands, and component brands. The awards ceremony will be held in March 2026 at the Beijing International RV Camping Exhibition.
