The Japan RV Association is expanding a network of paid overnight facilities for motorhomes and travel trailers. The new BEACH FRONT SAKAI park in Tokoname City offers seven spaces, access to electricity, a 24-hour toilet, and is pet-friendly. The cost starts at 1500 yen per night.

Nissan will release a custom camper version of the Serena minivan called the Multi Bed. Presented on February 12, 2026, the model is approximately 4.7 m long and features a foldable bed measuring 2.12 m for two adults. The base price starts from 3.6 million yen.

Toyota has introduced a special package for the Noah minivan, designed from the start for overnight stays. The package includes a sub-battery and inverter power system, a heater, navigation with ETC 2.0, and a solar panel.
