Secondary school students in Geraardsbergen have converted a trailer into a mobile festival unit. The 3000-euro project includes solar panels, a battery, a refrigerator, and sleeping space. It won a competition by the province of East Flanders to build a mobile installation powered by renewable energy.

The Belgian company Vanomobil is expanding its motorhome repair workshop in Deerlijk from 3,000 to 6,000 square meters. Construction will begin in November 2025 and take six months. The expansion responds to sustained demand for motorhome maintenance and repairs following the pandemic.
