Caravan and Motorhome Club launches insurance quote competition

Due to strong winds, motorhomes, campervans, and other high-sided vehicles are banned from travelling on the Humber Bridge (A15) in both directions. National Highways has implemented a diversion route via the A180, M180, M18, M62, and A63. The bridge, which carries around 33,000 vehicles per day, will remain closed until weather conditions improve.

Salop Leisure has reported increased interest in caravans and motorhomes following two major trade events in early 2026. At the Manchester show, lead generation rose by 12%, and the company's overall sales in January are up 11% year-on-year.
