Romanian family travels the world in a motorhome for 10 years

A Romanian family has been living in a motorhome and traveling the world for ten years. Two adults, a child, and two dogs occupy a space of 8 square meters. The parents work remotely in media and marketing, which finances their lifestyle. They are currently in the Apulia region of Italy.

A luxury caravan with a price tag comparable to an apartment has been unveiled. The model features a full kitchen, bathroom, and sleeping areas, positioning it as a wheeled home equivalent.

Hyundai presented the Staria Camper Concept, an electric camper van study, at the CMT 2026 show in Stuttgart. The company aims to launch a production version in Europe within the next two years. Dacia has introduced official conversion kits to transform its Duster and Jogger crossovers into camper vans. The kits include sleeping modules, storage systems, and kitchen units that can be installed without permanent modifications to the vehicle's structure.

At the Caravan Motor Touristik show, Mercedes-Benz launched the V-Class Marco Polo and Marco Polo HORIZON camper vans, alongside Sprinter-based conversions. The Marco Polo is aimed at extended vacations, while the HORIZON is designed for weekend getaways. Both models feature compact dimensions under two meters and integrate smart technology for daily practicality.

A couple of engineers in Tăuţii-Măgherăuş, Romania, have listed their yard on the Campernight app for caravan parking. This summer, they hosted tourists from Poland, France, Spain, and Germany. The site can accommodate three caravans simultaneously and offers facilities like a kitchen and bathroom.
