The company Automóveis MCcars has made 10 motorhomes available free of charge for people who lost their homes after the storm. The initiative is an emergency solution for residents in the districts of Leiria, Coimbra and Santarém, which were heavily impacted by depression Kristin. Demand for temporary accommodation far exceeds the available capacity.

Motorhome destroyed by fire in Sines supermarket parking lot

A motorhome with foreign license plates caught fire in the parking lot of a Bricomarché store in Sines, Portugal. The fire started in the engine compartment and completely consumed the vehicle. Firefighters were alerted at 1:13 PM and deployed five personnel with two specialized vehicles to extinguish the blaze.
