A test of the Hyundai Ioniq 9 electric SUV assessed its viability for overnight car camping. Using the vehicle's utility mode to run climate control at 22°C for nearly seven hours consumed approximately 6% of the 110 kWh battery, reducing range by about 40 km. The test was conducted in Queensland spring conditions with an overnight temperature of 17°C.
