Company in Guimarães provides 10 motorhomes for storm-displaced people

The company Automóveis MCcars has made 10 motorhomes available free of charge for temporary housing for people displaced by severe weather in Portugal. A company representative stated they cannot meet even a third of the assistance requests received. Storm "Kristin" caused several fatalities and significant damage, leading the government to extend a state of calamity until February 8.

Storm lifts caravans into the air at Portuguese campsite

Storm Kristin caused significant damage to the Praia do Pedrógão campsite in the Pedrógão Grande municipality. Strong winds, exceeding 200 km/h in some areas, lifted and displaced caravans, rendering the area unsafe. Authorities have closed the campsite to visitors until normal conditions are restored.

Motorhome destroyed by fire in Sines supermarket parking lot

A motorhome with foreign license plates caught fire in the parking lot of a Bricomarché store in Sines, Portugal. The fire started in the engine compartment and completely consumed the vehicle. Firefighters were alerted at 1:13 PM and deployed five personnel with two specialized vehicles to extinguish the blaze.
