Dacia Bigster transformed into compact camper with iAM SPORT package

A concept for a compact motorhome based on the Dacia Bigster SUV has been presented. The kit, consisting of an ARB drawer system, slide-out kitchen, and roof-top tent, adds approximately 187 kg and costs 6,400–7,000 euros. With the base vehicle starting at around 26,000 euros, the total project budget is 33,000–35,000 euros, making it significantly cheaper than classic campers.

The ARB firm has introduced an Overland package to adapt the Dacia Bigster crossover for active outdoor use. The kit features a slide-out kitchen with a stove and sink, plus a roof-top tent with a mattress and lighting. Individual components start at 6,400 euros.

The Romanian company Joy2Wander, founded in 2015, is adapting its motorhome rental business to local market conditions. Due to limited rental potential and seasonal demand, the company has added organized group road trips and created a hub for campervan maintenance and parking.

A project for motorhome manufacturing and conversion has been launched in Romania. The company Sfinx Camper & Conversion SRL will focus on building camper vans based on commercial vehicles.
