At the Japan Camping Car Show 2026 in Makuhari, TOWA Motors showcased the Buddy 108 camper van based on the Daihatsu Hijet mini truck. Despite its compact size of 3.4 meters in length and under 2 meters in height, the model is registered as a light camping car and can accommodate four people for travel and sleeping via a pop-up roof. A fully-equipped 4WD version with a cooling system, lithium-ion battery, and other features is priced at approximately 6.2 million yen.
