Hymer unveils off-road motorhomes CrossOver RV and Camper Van

ADAC is holding an additional driving safety training for motorhome owners on April 10, 2026, in Breisach-Hochstetten. Participants with a BZ-Card receive a 20 euro discount, reducing the cost to 174 euros. The training covers driving techniques, load securing, and handling in critical situations for vehicles up to 3.5 tons.

Following the end of its partnership with Mercedes-Benz, Westfalia offers the Jules Verne camper based on the Vito van. The model features a full wet bathroom with toilet and shower, absent in the Marco Polo, and employs a split-room layout. Its base price is €74,180, undercutting the Marco Polo.

The starting price for the model in Europe is 57,800 euros.

In Munich residential districts like Sendling-Westpark, the number of motorhomes and caravans occupying parking spaces for weeks or months increases during the colder seasons. According to German traffic regulations, parking such vehicles is permitted wherever passenger cars are allowed, provided they are roadworthy, although trailers must be moved every two weeks. City authorities state they lack the power to generally prohibit this parking unless it poses a proven danger.
