Bulgarian startup unveils motorhome with transforming beds

Bulgarian company Nomad's Nest has launched a line of teardrop trailers. The models are inspired by mid-20th century American design and are built for off-road travel.

Italian manufacturer Wingamm has introduced new compact caravan models, the Rookie 3.5 and Rookie Cross. They are built using a seamless monocoque construction from fiberglass-reinforced plastic (GRP), which prevents water ingress. The trailer is 4.99 meters long and weighs between 750 and 1000 kg. The Cross version features increased ground clearance and all-terrain tires.

Bulgarian manufacturer Hip Campers presented the luxury motorhome Hip 4Family for families at Caravan Salon 2025. The 7.2-meter model on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis features two seating areas but no fixed beds, with four sleeping places created via drop-down beds. The starting price is €149,999.

Three bodies have been found inside a camper van in Bulgaria. Preliminary police data indicates the shooting occurred inside the vehicle, with no signs of gunfire outside. Both murder and suicide scenarios are being investigated.

Bulgarian authorities have officially established rules for firing guns inside campers. Shooting is permitted only inside the vehicle but prohibited outside. The new regulations apply to owners of camper vans and motorhomes.
