A motorhome club in Modena, Italy, reported a record number of overnight stays in 2025. The facility recorded over 7,000 overnight stays, which is 500 more than in 2024. More than 80% of the guests were foreigners, primarily from Germany and France.

Cittanova municipality signs funding deal for motorhome parking area

The municipality of Cittanova in Calabria has signed a funding agreement with Italy's Ministry of Tourism. The project for a motorhome parking area on Mount Zomaro secured 192,000 euros in funding in 2025, with the city co-financing 48,000 euros. Out of 237 municipalities that applied, 152 received funding.

Jesi motorhome area renovation: 11 pitches and paid access

Renovation work has begun on the motorhome area on Via Zannoni in the Italian city of Jesi. The 180,000 euro project includes creating 11 fully serviced pitches, installing five electrical hook-up points, water and waste systems, as well as a paid-access barrier and CCTV. Half of the funding is provided by the Marche region.
