Imola Camper Parade 2026

The municipality of Piazza Armerina in Italy has confirmed the creation of two new equipped areas for motorhome parking. Project funding is already allocated, with construction to begin imminently. One area will be a refurbishment of an existing site, while the other will be built on the current bus parking lot.

The Imola Camper Parade will take place from March 13 to 15, 2026 at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari International Circuit in Imola. The event will feature a parade of motorhomes on the track and is expected to attract participants from across Italy.

From March 7 to 15, a Laika motorhome exhibition and test drive event will be held in Tuscany. Visitors can explore the model range and test vehicles on the road by prior appointment. The weekends will feature catering and wine tastings.

The Liberamente exhibition, featuring a festival for motorhome owners, is taking place in Bologna from February 20 to 22. In 2024, new motorhome registrations in Italy increased by 19.2%, and the country is the third-largest producer in Europe with an annual turnover exceeding €1 billion. Over 80% of production is exported, and motorhome travel, according to a study, reduces CO2 emissions by 30% compared to traditional vacations.

The motorhome and caravan market achieved record sales in 2025. Registrations of new vehicles grew by 10.56%, while transactions for used ones increased by 6.05% compared to the previous year. Over 44,000 units were sold in Italy.

A new free motorhome area has been completed in the Italian town of Torrita di Siena. The facility, with 10 pitches, dump station, and water hook-ups, was funded by the Tuscany Region. The official inauguration is scheduled for March 15.
