According to HRF industry statistics, 24 new caravans were registered in Sweden in February 2026, a 62% decrease from the same month last year. Meanwhile, motorhome registrations rose 118% to 312 units. Part of the increase is attributed to pre-registration of vehicles due to the introduction of Euro 6 standards.

Motorhome manufacturer Kabe is discontinuing the standalone Affinity brand, integrating it into its main lineup. The One, Duo, and Three models will now be sold as the Kabe Affinity series. For the 2026 season, the models will receive new interior colors, improved functional solutions, and an upgraded electrical system.

The fully self-sufficient, off-road capable Dovra Rig X-610 motorhome has been presented. Based on a Mercedes Sprinter 4x4 chassis, it features a 190 hp diesel engine, underfloor heating, solar panels, and a 105-liter freshwater tank. The vehicle is priced at 249,460 euros.

Swedish manufacturer Kabe AB has unveiled the Novum Traq 750 LGB motorhome based on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. The model is adapted for cold climates, features an Alde Compact 3030 heating system, and can accommodate up to four people. The price starts at 176,000 euros.

According to the Swedish Caravan and Motorhome Industry Association (HRF), only 9 new caravans were registered in January, a 68% decrease year-on-year. Meanwhile, motorhome registrations doubled to 122 units. The overall caravan market declined by 15.5% in 2025.

Dometic released its Q4 2025 financial results. Net sales were SEK 4,058 million, a 15% decrease, while operating profit (EBITA) reached SEK 245 million. The company observed a gradual market stabilization and sequential sales improvement during the quarter, despite continued caution from dealers and end consumers.
