Swedish Dovra Rig X-610 motorhome on Mercedes Sprinter base priced at 249,460 euros

According to HRF industry statistics, 24 new caravans were registered in Sweden in February 2026, a 62% decrease from the same month last year. Meanwhile, motorhome registrations rose 118% to 312 units. Part of the increase is attributed to pre-registration of vehicles due to the introduction of Euro 6 standards.

Motorhome manufacturer Kabe is discontinuing the standalone Affinity brand, integrating it into its main lineup. The One, Duo, and Three models will now be sold as the Kabe Affinity series. For the 2026 season, the models will receive new interior colors, improved functional solutions, and an upgraded electrical system.

At the CMT show in Stuttgart, Swedish manufacturer Kabe premiered its first semi-integrated motorhome, the Novum TRAQ 750 LGB, featuring standard rear-wheel drive. The 7.45-meter motorhome is built on a Mercedes chassis and offers optional four-wheel drive. Concurrently, the company received three awards from German readers in polls for imported motorhome categories.

At the CMT show in Stuttgart, Swedish manufacturer Kabe presented the new TM Novum TRAQ 750 LGB model. This is the brand's first partially integrated motorhome with rear-wheel drive as standard and optional four-wheel drive. The motorhome is built on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis, with a base price starting at 121,680 euros.

Swedish manufacturers Kabe and Polar produce caravans adapted for cold weather camping. Key features include thickened sandwich panels up to 51 mm, Alde wet central heating systems, and internally mounted water tanks. The design focuses on minimizing heat loss and preventing freezing.

A man has died from injuries sustained after being trapped under a motorhome in Vännäsby, Västerbotten, on Christmas Day. The vehicle, which was parked, overturned while he was reportedly working on it. Police do not suspect any crime in connection with the incident.
