Bulgarian brand HIP unveils spacious family motorhome

Bulgarian company Nomad's Nest has launched a line of teardrop trailers. The models are inspired by mid-20th century American design and are built for off-road travel.

Bulgarian startup Hip Campers has introduced the Hip 4Family motorhome with an unconventional layout. The 7.2-meter model on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis features two lounge areas with double beds that descend from the ceiling. The base version starts at 149,999 euros, and driving it in the Netherlands requires a C1 license due to its 3,300 kg weight.

Italian manufacturer Wingamm has introduced new compact caravan models, the Rookie 3.5 and Rookie Cross. They are built using a seamless monocoque construction from fiberglass-reinforced plastic (GRP), which prevents water ingress. The trailer is 4.99 meters long and weighs between 750 and 1000 kg. The Cross version features increased ground clearance and all-terrain tires.

Three bodies have been found inside a camper van in Bulgaria. Preliminary police data indicates the shooting occurred inside the vehicle, with no signs of gunfire outside. Both murder and suicide scenarios are being investigated.

Bulgarian authorities have officially established rules for firing guns inside campers. Shooting is permitted only inside the vehicle but prohibited outside. The new regulations apply to owners of camper vans and motorhomes.
