As of January 1, 2026, Iceland has introduced a road usage fee for all vehicles, including motorhomes. It replaces the abolished fuel tax and is charged as a fixed-rate fee for tourists, based on vehicle weight and length of stay. For a motorhome up to 3.5 tonnes, the fee ranges from €94.52 for 10 days to €165.41 for 21 days or more.
