Caravan placed on permanent pitch in Ripon

British manufacturer Auto-Trail has updated its V-Line Sport campervan range for the 2026 model year. Key updates include an enlarged rear garage for storage and refreshed exterior and interior aesthetics. The range is based on the Fiat Ducato chassis and offers multiple floorplans.

Families who set up caravans for habitation on farmland in West Sussex are appealing an enforcement notice to remove them. Horsham District Council states the land use was changed without planning permission. A public inquiry into the appeals is scheduled to start on March 17.

Authorities in Keswick, Lake District, are formulating a strategy to address parking and sanitation issues caused by camper van and motorhome owners. Vehicles are occupying residential streets and daytime parking areas overnight, with reports of improper waste disposal. The town council is working with Cumberland Council to identify sites for designated overnight parking areas (aires) and improve enforcement.

UK-based Barefoot Caravans has updated the Bothy camper trailer. By removing the washroom, the weight is reduced to approximately 1,874 lbs, making it compatible with smaller ICE vehicles and electric cars. The fiberglass body comes with a 10-year warranty, and the interior can sleep up to three people.
