Luxury motorhomes shift towards daily use

The caravan manufacturer Fendt Caravan from Mertingen has introduced a new, more affordable line called Next. The models represent a shift towards more modest offerings compared to the company's premium segment. The line has been in production for about a year and includes family models.

Overnight stays at German campsites increased by 4.2% in 2025, reaching 44.7 million. This marks the fourth consecutive year of growth, while hotels and guesthouses saw a slight decline of 0.4%. The winter months, particularly December (+18.5%), contributed significantly to this record result.
