The municipality of Piazza Armerina in Italy has confirmed the creation of two new equipped areas for motorhome parking. Project funding is already allocated, with construction to begin imminently. One area will be a refurbishment of an existing site, while the other will be built on the current bus parking lot.

The motorhome and caravan market achieved record sales in 2025. Registrations of new vehicles grew by 10.56%, while transactions for used ones increased by 6.05% compared to the previous year. Over 44,000 units were sold in Italy.

The municipality of Livorno has secured state funding to renovate a motorhome parking area in the Banditella district. The €112,000 project will create 25 designated pitches. Construction is scheduled to begin by June 30 and be completed by the end of 2026.
